The photos in the back are for identification.If you are like me and like wildlife documentaries you will find much too you tastes . You may be interested in zebra migration out off the salt pans when the water dries up to the Beteti River [ wrong spelling ]
There is an introduction to the Kalahari Desert with the area shaded in. This crosses several national boundaries.
There are a number of major wildlife centres here. My favourite is the Okavango Delta, but there are are a number of good ones . Each get there own small map.
The author writes well and this gook is well worth reading for those interested in the Kalahari and the many major wildlife sites in the region
The photos are of animals and birds in the region [a helpful guide to those who can live in arid conditions ] there a none / few photos of terrain.
Highly recommended
I have a few picture books on the region, but am still looking for a first one. Any suggestions
